• VIP has been the host in Istanbul of the Annual Board Meeting attended by the Board Members of La Hoffman Roche, CEC members and Mr. Lukas Hoffman, owner of Roche, of which served for 25 years. Hereby, to symbolize the successful business cooperation of a quarter century, VIP Tourism has presented a plaque to Roche CEO Mr. Franz Humer, Vice President of CEMAI Region, Mr. Tuygan Goker and Roche Turkiye GM George Hadjiev.

• Roche CEMAI Regional Annual Meeting held in Adam & Eve Hotel in Antalya with the participation of the General Managers and Financial Managers of 120 countries in June 2008.

• In connection with the VW FS AG Annual Meeting, VIP has entertained the Human Resources Directors in 20-27 September. It is intended to create a concept regarding their field of expertise for the guests who are accomodated in the old city of Istanbul, where diversified cultures are combined. The created concept has been a special environment awareness as the consciousness for environment is considered one of the biggest issues of our globe.

• Mercedes SL and SLK-Class Models are introduced by an event organized by VIP, with attendance of , F1 Pilots Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen on Thursday evening, 8th of May 2008 in Maçka Lunapark (the funfair). Mr. Jürgen Ziegler, President of the Board of Directors of Mercedes Benz Türkiye has been the host of the evening. The press members have shown a great interest in the event at which F1 Pilots made a spectacular enterance to the stage built inside the party tent by driving the cars from the enterance of the funfair. The guests had an enjoyable evening in the event that offered a stage made out of dodgems, a party tent included a carousel and ferris wheel.

• The accommodation management service has been given by VIP Tourism for the 31st IRU International Road Transportation Union World Congress at 15-16 May 2008 which had around 2.000 attendees. At 10 exclusive 5 star and 4 star hotels, the participants have been hosted. Their accommodation needs met by our experienced colleagues during their stays.

• GIDAKAT (Association of Food Additives and Ingredients Manufacturers) will host the 41st General Assembly of FEDIMA (Federation of European Union Manufacturers and Suppliers of Ingredients to the Bakery, Confectionery and Patisserie Industries) between the dates October 8-11, 2008 in Istanbul, Conrad Hotel. The organization is carried out by VIP. Other than the official meetings and General Assembly, Turkish night entertainments and special tours were planned as well as the visits to a production facility of special Turkish food, deserts made of flour which will have the character of a cultural excursion within the framework of the General Assembly. FEDIMA / Istanbul General Assembly meeting covered such beautiful days that won’t be easily erased from your memories of our participants.

• Second Balkan Countries CHODs Conference has been organized in between 6-7 July 2008 in Gloria Golf Hotel Antalya, with the attendance of chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Balkan Countries Generals and Admirals. Simultaneously, as VIP Tourism we had the honor of organizing the, Silk Road Flag Officers Seminar for the second time, in between 7-10 July 2008, which was enormously important by its being the last international official meeting hosted by General Yaşar Büyükanıt. During these meetings, not only more than 300 Generals, Admirals, Captains, military staff participated the sessions, but they could also find chance to attend the Social Events and excursion tours specially planned for them with their spouses and enjoyed the outstanding history and nature of the region. The meetings evaluated as great success both officially and socially.
